India and Myanmar Strengthen Security Ties During High-Level Bilateral Engagements

India has reaffirmed its support for Myanmar’s sovereignty and territorial integrity during President Min Aung Hlaing’s visit to New Delhi. According to Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, both countries emphasized preventing the misuse of their territories against each other’s security interests, with Myanmar assuring that its territory would not be used against India. The visit includes meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Droupadi Murmu, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, and National Security Adviser Ajit Doval, highlighting the growing importance of India-Myanmar strategic and security cooperation.
