'We Must Protect Our Culture': Suvendu Adhikari Addresses Sanatan Consciousness Programme

Speaking at the Sanatan Consciousness & Ram Rajya Awakening programme, West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari criticized what he described as decades of appeasement politics in the state, alleging that illegal infiltration has significantly altered Bengal's demographic landscape. He expressed concern over the condition of Hindus in Bangladesh and emphasized the importance of protecting religious and cultural traditions in India. Adhikari also claimed that permissions for Hindu religious festivals often require court intervention. Highlighting the recent change in government, he said a nationalist "double-engine" administration has brought a positive shift in the state's atmosphere and expressed confidence that further changes will be seen in the coming months.
