Activist Sonam Wangchuk has said he is willing to end his 25-day hunger strike if the government assures that no force, FIRs, or legal action will be taken against protesting students. In a video message from a private hospital in Gurugram, Wangchuk said he has lost around 11 kg but remains determined. He praised the students for maintaining peace despite alleged police action and provocation, and said appeals from ministers and around 65 MPs have prompted him to consider ending the fast if the government provides the requested assurances.
