Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Kalyan Banerjee announced that the party will approach the Calcutta High Court on Monday to challenge the appointment of the Leader of Opposition (LoP), claiming the Speaker's decision was illegal. Speaking after a meeting at the residence of TMC chief Mamata Banerjee, Banerjee also accused the BJP of targeting TMC workers through violence and false cases.
