Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk has ended his 26-day hunger strike after receiving assurances from the Central Government and Members of Parliament across political parties. The government promised that the issue of accountability in the examination system would be discussed in Parliament, families of NEET paper leak-related suicide victims would receive compensation, and no cases would be filed against students and youth who participated in peaceful protests. Wangchuk described the moment as the "end of hunger and the beginning of accountability."
