West Bengal BJP president Samik Bhattacharya launched a sharp attack on the Trinamool Congress (TMC), alleging that those involved in looting public money would not be spared. Rejecting the TMC's allegations over the police encounter in the Baruipur rape-murder case, he accused the former ruling party of fostering political violence in the state. Bhattacharya claimed that more than 300 BJP workers were killed, BJP women workers faced atrocities, and party leaders were repeatedly targeted. He asserted that the BJP believes in justice rather than revenge, saying TMC leaders continue to move freely despite the allegations against them.
