Modi Unveils New Roadmap for India-New Zealand Ties

At a gala lunch hosted by New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon in Auckland, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled a comprehensive roadmap to strengthen India-New Zealand ties. He announced plans to link India's UPI with New Zealand's payment system, expand cooperation in agriculture, dairy, food processing, and traditional medicine, and deepen defence and Indo-Pacific maritime collaboration through naval exercises, logistics support, and hydrography. Modi said these initiatives would transform the strategic partnership into practical cooperation, benefiting both nations while enhancing trade, innovation, security, and people-to-people ties.
