Noida International Airport at Jewar has officially begun commercial flight operations, marking a major milestone in India's aviation sector. In a symbolic and emotional gesture, families who contributed land for the airport project boarded the inaugural flight to Lucknow. The airport is expected to handle 1.2 crore passengers annually in its first phase, with capacity projected to exceed 7 crore passengers upon completion, boosting connectivity, economic growth, and development across Uttar Pradesh and the NCR region.
