West Bengal is set to witness a major railway infrastructure transformation, with projects worth over ₹1 lakh crore expected across the state. Following a meeting with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari stated that the funds have been committed and work will begin immediately. The proposed investment aims to enhance rail connectivity, modernize infrastructure, improve passenger facilities, strengthen freight operations, and boost economic growth throughout West Bengal.
