England captain Ben Stokes has announced his retirement from international cricket, with the ongoing third Test against New Zealand at Trent Bridge set to be his final international appearance. Stokes made his England debut in 2011 and went on to become one of the greatest all-rounders in cricket history. A World Cup winner, Ashes hero and the architect of England's fearless "Bazball" era, he finishes his career with 121 Tests, 114 ODIs and 43 T20Is. Stokes also retires as only the second player in Test history to score over 7,000 runs and take more than 250 wickets, leaving behind an enduring legacy as one of England's finest cricketers.
